For years, FltPlan has offered international handling and services, including overflight permits and fees, for Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America through our partner CST Flight Services. Unlike other service providers, FltPlan offers firm quotes – with no hidden fees – so you know what to expect when your final invoice arrives, unless changes are made to the itinerary between quoting and the final operation of your flight.

As a part of continued enhancements to FltPlan.com, a self-service option is now available to complete required forms and information to submit Cuban Overflight Permits, U.S. CBP Overflight Exemptions, and Mexican Airspace Fees. The new self-service options are designed to streamline these services for our users who fly internationally by filling out online forms instead of contacting FltPlan via telephone. Full-service options are still available and include Ground Handling, International Overflight & Landing Permits, Airspace Fees, and APIS services. Full-service options are handled by our partner, CST Flight Services, who has a full staff of experienced, bilingual handlers to ensure a stress-free trip.

To get a quote for your next trip, look for the handling message link below your international flight plan on the Active Flight Plan List, or fill out the relevant forms listed in the Premium Service section of the left-hand navigation menu. Once completed, a quote will be sent within 48 hours.

SMS Updates to Risk and Hazard Report SPI

FltPlan SMS Enhanced Risk Hazard Reports have been improved to allow operators to customize the Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) for each report type. Flight crews, maintenance personnel, cabin crew and other groups can have their own SPI for their specific report type, saving time and effort when submitting reports. This change makes it easy to remove items from the list of standard SPI and add those that are unique to specific areas of operation.

To customize the SPI for your business:

Select Enhanced Risk Hazard Reports from the left menu.
Go to Settings, and click SPI Categories.
Choose the Report Type.
Add the new SPI Name in the field provided, and select Add.
Choose the Red Circle with a White Line to remove the item from the SPI category, and select Delete to confirm the change.

New AeroData Runway Analysis Profiles

Looking for a runway analysis service offering for your Citation X, Sovereign or Latitude? AeroData has recently added those aircraft and more aircraft profiles to its offerings, so you can calculate your takeoff and landing data seamlessly while creating your flight plan on FltPlan.com.

Runway analysis offerings from AeroData are currently available for select business aircraft, with plans to add more aircraft makes and models in the future. Check here to see if your aircraft is currently supported. If your aircraft type is not listed, please contact us as we are continually working to extend coverage to additional models.
