FltPlan’s Map Builder Includes SIGMETs and AIRMETs
The most powerful interactive map for pilots just got even better.

If you’ve been using our web-based Map Builder feature, you already know that you can view your route with current conditions, including winds aloft, TFRs, Fuel Prices, SIDs & STARs, NEXRAD weather radar, and user-defined, color-coded METARs. Now, we also include SIGMETs and AIRMETs.

SIGMETs and AIRMETs can be found at the bottom of the Map Builder menu. To view all SIGMETs or AIRMETs, put a checkmark in the checkbox to the left of the SIGMETs or AIRMETs Layer option that you would like displayed on the Map Builder. Clicking on the SIGMETs and AIRMETs links allows you to expand the menu to select a specific type.

The Map Builder can be accessed from any device – desktop, tablet, phone or laptop. With FltPlan, there is no need to pay for costly licenses. FltPlan provides free visual and IFR charts for the U.S. and Canada for use on as many devices as you'd like.

This integrates our system with the Canadian APIS system to allow commercial carriers who fly in and out of Canada the convenience of submitting their U.S. & Canadian eAPIS through our website.

FltPlan has been providing U.S. eAPIS since 2009. We were the first commercial provider to be certified by DHS/Customs for submissions of eAPIS manifests for Part 91 operators. We have since added Mexican and Caricom APIS to our menu of services.

For more information on our eAPIS service, please call our Premium Services office at 731-855-8000 between 9am and 5pm Eastern Time.
