|FltPlan’s Map Builder Includes SIGMETs and AIRMETs|
The most powerful interactive map for pilots just got even better.
If you’ve been using our web-based Map Builder feature, you already know that you can view your route with current conditions, including winds aloft, TFRs, Fuel Prices, SIDs & STARs, NEXRAD weather radar, and user-defined, color-coded METARs. Now, we also include SIGMETs and AIRMETs.
The Map Builder can be accessed from any device – desktop, tablet, phone or laptop. With FltPlan, there is no need to pay for costly licenses. FltPlan provides free visual and IFR charts for the U.S. and Canada for use on as many devices as you'd like.
Check out FltPlan’s new Video Support page. Our team has been busy creating video tutorials to help you use our website and apps to your best advantage. We currently offer videos on Main Menu Favorites, Map Builder, and Map Builder Default Settings. More will be added as they become available. You can access Video Support by clicking the camera icon on the bottom right side of the log-in page (www.FltPlan.com) or, once logged-in, by going to Main Menu > Help > Video Support.
FltPlan’s eAPIS Service Includes Canadian APIS for Part 135 Operators
FltPlan offers a Canadian APIS (Advanced Passenger Information Systems) service, which complies with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requirements for Part 135 / commercial operators. This integrates our system with the Canadian APIS system to allow commercial carriers who fly in and out of Canada the convenience of submitting their U.S. & Canadian eAPIS through our website.
More than 5,000,000 push notifications have been sent from the FltPlan website to the FltPlan Go app for iPad, iPhone and Android since June 1, 2015.
TFR Information Available on FltPlan – As Always
FltPlan has always offered Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) information, and the Map Builder makes it easy to find. Select the TFR option, and TFRs will be displayed on your Sectional, High Altitude Chart, or Low Altitude Chart. You can easily see if there is an area to avoid along your route of flight.
